Tidewell
A motion system for water at its source.
Tidewell is a fictional sparkling mineral water. The identity treats motion as water finding its level: it rises, settles, and holds. Every frame is drawn from shapes, type, gradients and Canvas2D water. No footage. No 3D.
Water does not arrive on a straight line.
“It finds the lowest point, settles, and then holds. The Tidewell system is built from that behaviour: fast first, then a long release; one loud moment, then silence.”
The full sequence.
The complete 12-second hero spot. A bottle fills with sparkling water, the label locks in, and the brand line lands on the signature single fizz.
Four rules.
The behavioural physics that govern every transition, wipe, and bubble in the identity.
Moves like water.
Fast first, then a long settle. The only linear move in the system is the comparison that exposes it.
Rise and release.
Everything starts below the mark, overshoots by a hair, and releases. Related elements stagger; they never march.
Surface tension.
Two bodies prefer one. They stretch, neck, merge, and only then settle. Parting is a thinning bridge, not a fade.
Calm punctuation.
One fizz. One citrus flash. Then stillness. The pause is the point.
Five ways to rise.
One system, five fields. The bottle stays still; the water changes temperature and weight around it.

Still, with a pulse.

Three six-second loops, authored at 1080×1920. They are periodic at 6 seconds, so the wrap reads as continuous water rather than a reset.
Safe area strictly preserved: zero key typography in the top 250 px or bottom 350 px.
Rising tide with procedural water bubbles, authored without key type for pure atmospheric presence.
Seamless colour transitions across Plain Sparkling, Sea Salt & Lime, and Sunlit Yuzu.
Layered periodic wave physics calibrated for continuous ambient feed display.
The system.
A five-colour family, two typefaces, four motion rules, and one signature accent beat per piece.
Palette & Usage Guidelines
Typography System
Used for the wordmark, titles, and flavour names with -0.02em to -0.04em tight tracking.
Used for body copy, technical labels, and captions. Labels set in 0.18em–0.24em uppercase tracking.
Motion Curves & Punctuation
- waterOutcubic-bezier(0.23, 1, 0.32, 1) — Fast surge, long settle
- settleFluid relaxation into equilibrium
- tensionViscous bridge stretch before merge
Exactly one fizz sound and citrus yellow flash per narrative piece. Zero incidental UI clicks, whooshes, or background music. Silence after the fizz is non-negotiable.
